Yates Mill Elementary’s 22nd Annual Fun Run

It’s time for our 22nd annual FUN RUN! It is the PTA’s major fundraiser for the 2026-2027 school year. Each student will participate towards a common goal – enriching our school’s programs by raising funds to support teacher grants, improving outdoor spaces, community events, and so much more! On the day of the Fun Run, each class will march to the track with the banner they have created representing their class. Each student will then have the opportunity to walk, run, skip, or hop around the track for 20 minutes. The emphasis will be to promote physical fitness, school spirit, and FUN!
Parents are invited to come cheer on their students! Our Fun Run is an all-volunteer event so 100% of the profits go directly to the school, benefitting our students and teachers. Remember your gift is tax deductible! (Yates Mill PTA Tax ID #56-2205881). If your company offers an employee matching gift program, you can make your contribution go twice as far!

- Please use enclosed form and envelope sent home with your student to send in cash or check donations.

PRIZES
If the SCHOOL meets our goal of $14,000, there will be a GLOW PARTY in the gym during specials! There will be games, music, dancing and glow fun for all!
The GRADE that raises the most money in their coin jars will enjoy a POPSICLE PARTY during class.
The CLASS that raises the most money will get a PIZZA PARTY during lunch.
Individual Prizes: *Every child will be given one raffle ticket regardless of their donation amount.*

- An extra ticket will be given to each child in the class if their class, as a whole, raises $525.
- Raise $10-$99: Receive 1 raffle ticket per $10 donated.
- Raise $100-$249: Receive 2 raffle tickets per $10 donated.
- Raise $250 or more: Bonus of 25 raffle tickets!
- Raffle Prizes: YMES Spirit/Frog basket, Arts & Crafts basket, STEM basket, Baking/Cooking basket, Sports Basket, and a Game/Pop Culture basketR
FAMILIES
Please join us on Oct 23rd for a FUN filled day (rain date November 6th)! You are invited to watch your students as they parade in and participate in the run. The 5-minute parade is then followed by a 20-minute run around the track; grade specific times will be sent out prior to the event.
